SunCepts was formed as a California corporation in February of 2000 to globally market a newly invented and patented line of multifunction eyewear necessities known by the brand name hides™. The hides™ product line incorporates the essentials of an eyeglass retainer, a protective case and a soft cleaning cloth all into one product. In 2001 SunCepts was purchased by a group of private investors and the headquarters, offices, warehousing and fulfillment was moved to Stuart, FL.
